Something most overlooked, which is somewhat of a BOP oversight, is the I 24, Parole application itself.
If you read it verbatim, it allows for the request of all material they will be considering or redacted but summarized versions of non-disclosable material. I was always under the impression a FOIA was not needed for the material if this application was submitted correctly and it was part of the commissions file.
Unfortunately, like most government forms, a case manager has you sign them without carefully explaining the purpose. This form has several purposes and one is the disclosure of the USPC file. I have seen AUSA 792’s( and one other maybe AO 245’s) come back and summarized reports of other materials when the I 24 was filled out timely and correctly.
